A retention, or 'stay', interview is a one-to-one structured discussion between an interviewer (this may be a hiring manager, a member of HR, or an impartial third party), and an employee within their first year of employment.
They're a great way to find out what's working well in your business, and what isn't. Most businesses with low turnover are flexible, upfront about working hours, actively promote positive morale and offer plenty of training and development opportunities.
In this eBook, we:
Discuss the issues associated with high turnover
Detail the organisational benefits of conducting retention interviews with your new-starters
Outline the best times to conduct them, based upon our experience, and;
Tell you how to create and implement your own successful strategy
