Research from PwC has found that only around one in seven workers wants to work in a nine-to-five, office environment in the future. Further research outlines that 24% of HR professionals are prepared for this change, while 56% are building possible future scenarios into their talent pipelines.  

In a candidate-driven market, this will likely impact a large number of businesses, and will directly affect the role of HR. If working a standard ‘nine to five’ is about to become a thing of the past – it’s time to start adapting and considering how temporary workforces can be utilised to maintain productivity and output levels.
